Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager Human Resources

1) Primary Function

 To head the HR Dept

2) Role

HRM shall be responsible for facilitating change and organizational effectiveness, as well as developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures, for effective sourcing, recruiting, developing, rewarding and retaining talent to meet the needs of the organization.


3)   Principal Duties &        




I.                     Talent Acquisition / Recruitment & Selection and Induction

  Planning and executing the recruitment strategy to meet the staffing requirements of the organization;

  Facilitating the entire recruitment cycle and participating in the selection process;

  Completing pre and post recruitment formalities;

  Designing and facilitating induction / orientation programmes.


II.                    HR Policies & Systems (Industrial Relations)

  Reviewing HR Policies and practices to ensure they are in compliance with the legal and regulatory framework

  Drafting various HR Documents, Formats, Bonds, Handbooks and Manuals (HR/ Quality/ EHS)

  Designing and Implementing Grievance Redressal


III.                  Performance Management & Rewards Systems

  Designing and facilitating the implementation of the performance appraisal system

  Managing the performance appraisal cycle, including setting up of objectives, mid-year review and final appraisal and ratings;

  Moderating the outcomes and giving feedback to staff

  Designing and implementing Employee benefits & retention systems

  Exit Interviews & Analysis


IV.                  Compensation Management

  Reviewing & benchmarking staff pay packages and allowances

  Managing salary, training and staff welfare budgets

  Planning and implementing annual salary increments


V.                   Training & Development (Career Enhancement)

  Conducting training needs analysis

  Preparing the training plan and training calendar for specific period

  Coordinating training workshops (technical & non-technical)


VI.                  Legal Compliance

  Liaising with the Legal Advisor for statutory and legal issues relating to employment terms and conditions of staff

  Keeping management updated with the latest statutory requirements, relating to the employment of staff


VII.                Change Management

  Influencing and facilitating the process of organizational change and development, leading to improved organizational and individual performance

4)   Work Environment

  • Office based job but required to network with the people in the industry for Recruitment & training affairs
  • Expected to travel to colleges for Brand Building among candidates

5)  Preferred Education &       



I.                    EDUCATION

  • Graduate / Post graduate in Human Resources Management, Labour Studies, Personnel management.


II.                  EXPERIENCE

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Management
  • Excellent knowledge of employment regulation as per regulatory framework of Maharashtra as well as other parts of the country
  • Abreast with the latest trends in HR, IR and all related matters


III.                SKILLS

  • Good command over MS Word, Excel and Power-point
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills
  • Effective team building and people management skills
  • Effective mentoring and motivational skills
  • Proficient in Verbal & Written Communication skills
